Pins, badges, pop-up shops, Timewalkers’ Treasure Chests—this BlizzCon has them all! Find out more about the loot you’ll discover at BlizzCon 2019; plus, learn how you can participate in this year’s March of the Murlocs!
Blizzard Collectible Pins
This year’s BlizzCon marks the 5th anniversary of the Blizzard Collectible Pins program. It all began with pin packs, and this year’s pack, Series 6, features 10 new characters: Genn Graymane, Gelbin Mekkatorque, Orisa, Moira, Zenyatta, the Monk, Butcher, Fenix, Annoy-o-Tron, and Orphea.
There are four new collector’s edition pins, including Ashe & B.O.B. from Overwatch, a 15th anniversary World of Warcraft pin, the Classic card back from Hearthstone, and an 8-Bit Heroes pin set.
At Blizzard, employees receive a sword to mark their 5-year work anniversary, and it’s time for Merchy to receive his at BlizzCon! To commemorate the occasion, we have a 5th anniversary logo pin and new pin-trading lanyard. The Darkmoon Faire pin purchase booth will offer even more designs, including the Blizzard Pride and character Pachimari pins.
BlizzCon Badges
The BlizzCon Series 3 Badge Booster Packs feature 18 new badges. 12 additional badge designs can be found in the Darkmoon Faire capsule toy machines. If you don’t already own a badge display backpack or hat, they will be available at the Capsule Toy Depot booth.
Trader’s Bay
On Thursday, October 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the BlizzCon Pregame Festivities, we are introducing a new collector’s area—Trader’s Bay! Like the Darkmoon Faire Pin and Badge Trading Booth, Trader’s Bay will feature standing tables for collectors to meet and make trades. To help bring it back to where it all started, the area will additionally support old-school pin and badge trading boards. If you are seeking other attendees looking to swap commemorative collectible statues, Trader’s Bay is a great place to meet up.
Darkmoon Faire Pin & Badge Trading Booth
Trader’s Bay is just the beginning. The festivities will continue in the Darkmoon Faire where you’ll find the trading booth and tables. Keep an eye on the trading boards throughout the convention as we bring back older pins and badges to celebrate the Blizzard Collectible Pins’ 5th anniversary. There may be other surprises to discover and collect as well. . . .
The Wonderworks Pop-Up Shop
Last year, Jepetto Joybuzz, proprietor of Dalaran’s Wonderworks Toy Shop, visited D.E.H.T.A.’s Plush Adoption Booth in the Darkmoon Faire. Discovering a promising partnership, Jepetto has joined forces with D.E.H.T.A. and expanded the booth into the new Wonderworks Pop-Up Shop. Here you’ll find all the plush toys you know and love, but the shop has expanded to include other toys, like badges, puzzles, playing cards, vinyl figures, construction sets, and blasters.
Timewalkers’ Treasure Chest
Let’s do the Timewalk again! Each treasure chest this year will feature the World of Warcraft 15th anniversary Gold Patina Sylvanas Funko POP! The POP! is exclusive to the Timewalkers’ Treasure Chest, and every box will additionally include a custom badge and a World of Warcraft in-game item code card. The remaining contents will be a mystery, but will include one item from each of the following categories: pins, badges, books, coloring books, Cute But Deadly vinyl figures, Overwatch backpack hangers, plush, and micro-plush.
The March of the Murlocs Returns
The murlocs go marching ten by ten— Mrrgrll! Mrrgrll! Saturday at 12:45 p.m., at the entrance of Hall D, all murlocs are welcome to join the parade and march through the convention hall. Bring your green or blue murloc kigurumis or pick up the new red version at the BlizzCon Store.
We can’t wait to see you at BlizzCon!
