Wristband & Badge Pickup


BlizzCon 2019 attendees will each receive a wristband that must be worn to enter the convention. To pick up your BlizzCon® 2019 entry wristband, bring the following to your designated registration area at the convention:

  • Your mobile ticket. Download the AXS mobile app for Android or iPhone.
  • Your ticket(s) QR code will be displayed in the AXS mobile app

Registration Hours

  • Thursday, October 31 from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. PDT
  • Friday, November 1 from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. PDT
  • Saturday, November 2 from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. PDT

Registration Locations

BlizzCon Pass

  • Main location: Sheraton parking lot (adjacent to the convention center)
  • Secondary location: Hall E Ticket Office (near Car Park 4 on West Street; limited capacity)

BlizzCon Portal Pass – Hilton Anaheim Catalina Room 5
BlizzCon Benefit Dinner – Hilton Anaheim Catalina Room 5; BlizzCon Benefit Dinner attendees can also pick up their BlizzCon wristbands at the dinner location on Thursday.

Attendees will also receive a badge displaying their name; however, note that the wristband is required to enter the convention.

[WARNING!] Once a ticket is scanned and your wristband is distributed, the ticket becomes invalid. We will not be able to replace lost wristbands.

Mobile Ticketing

New for 2019!

BlizzCon 2019 attendees will need to download the AXS mobile app (AndroidiPhone) before BlizzCon to pick up their wristbands. Your tickets are linked to a QR code displayed in the app that refreshes at regular intervals.

Managing Your Guests

Keeping Tickets In Your Name

If you’d like to manage all your purchased tickets yourself, or if you aren’t certain who’ll be attending BlizzCon with you, just hang on to all the tickets and keep them in your name. When you arrive at the show, you will need to pick up all wristbands yourself and distribute them to your guests. 

Transferring Tickets to Friends and Family BY SEPTEMBER 15 - UPDATED!

If you want your guests to be able to pick up their own tickets, you can use AXS’s Transfer option to permanently hand them over before September 15 at 11:59pm PDT. Once you transfer a ticket to a friend or family member (using their name and email address), your guest will have full control over the ticket from that point forward, including the ability to transfer it to someone else. Make sure you’re transferring to someone you trust!

Minors Attending BlizzCon Without Their Own Photo ID

No ID? No problem! Bring your ticket directly to the Solutions Desk at BlizzCon, along with the original credit card used to purchase the ticket and the purchaser’s original photo ID (digital copy of photo ID will be accepted; actual credit card required). 

Adults Attending With a Minor

If you’re bringing a minor without their own ID to BlizzCon and want to avoid a trip to the Solutions Desk, keep the ticket in the adult’s name rather than transferring it to the minor. This will allow you to pick up the wristband with your own photo ID, and then you can give the wristband to the minor accompanying you. Accompanying adults must also purchase a BlizzCon ticket to enter the event.

Transfers After SEPTEMBER 15 - UPDATED!

We know plans can suddenly change, so if you have tickets under your name and need to transfer them after September 15, you and/or the new guest can bring the following to the Solutions Desk at BlizzCon for assistance:

  • The ticket (QR code) to be switched to the new guest’s name
  • Ticket order confirmation number
  • The credit card used to make the purchase
  • The photo ID of the person whose name is on the ticket (or a fully legible physical or digital copy of the photo ID)

Keep in mind that transferring tickets is optional; you can pick up multiple wristbands under your own name and distribute them to your guests yourself, saving yourself a trip to (and a potentially long wait at) the Solutions Desk.
